We Aren’t A Whistle Stop But You Might See A Train

Originally built as a farmhouse in 1873, the Payne-Corley House has been lovingly maintained and restored to offer the best combination of traditional Southern charm and modern amenities.  Our nearly 4-acre property features two unique settings to beautifully accommodate intimate celebrations, grand affairs, and everything in between. Lush gardens and a sweeping canopy of hundred-year-old oak trees provide a picturesque vista for your outdoor ceremony and you may even have a train come by!

The post popular question on a tour is….do you know the train’s schedule?  The answer is unfortunately no.  We have been told that a schedule exists but it would be very unreliable as it changes all the time.  If a train does pass, children and adults alike will delight in the nostalgic feel it brings and the memories it makes for you on your special day.
