I love it when a bride’s natural style brings out the best in the Payne-Corley House. Combine great style with 68 degree weather (and no humidity) and it really doesn’t get much better. Katie Snyder and Thomas Fowler planned a very southern, slightly country-fied wedding celebration and had some great touches that really made their event unique. One of my favorites were the favors. It’s often said that favors are “for the birds” but this time it really was true! Katie’s handpainted tree served as her guest book for friends to “leaf” their thumbprints. Katie used our house florist Abby’s Floral Design whose use of antique vases and mason jars gave the design a bit of a rustic look. Along with a custom designed groom’s cake by our always delicious baker For Goodness Cakes, the guests enjoyed Orange, Root Beer, and Coke Floats for dessert. Nicole Puckett, a local photographer captured the event.
We had a wonderful time at the reception at your wonderful venue! The time flew by! Thanks for all you did to make the evening so memorable.

Every detail at the Payne-Corley House was wonderful! The food, the cooperative staff, the grounds, and of course the beautiful house itself could not have been more perfect. I have been receiving compliments on the reception for the last two weeks. Everyone had a great time. All the recommended vendors that we used (Abby’s Floral Design, For Goodness Cakes, and Black Tie Events) were such an important part of the whole package.
For anyone planning an event, we highly recommend the Payne-Corley experience.
