Krista was introduced to the hospitality industry in high school while working for a local caterer as a banquet server. Her enthusiasm for the business led to a bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. Krista began her professional career in 1995, with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, working at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta (Downtown), The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead, and The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans, where she handled weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, charity galas and corporate catering sales. Krista left The Ritz-Carlton in 2002, to become the Director of Catering for The Elms Mansion, an events facility in New Orleans’ historic Garden District. After relocating with her husband to the Detroit area, she served as Director of Catering for a private club in Birmingham, Michigan. Krista returned home to Duluth in 2004 to form Sage House Group Inc., a hospitality management company and began overseeing operations at the Payne-Corley House. Born and raised in this community, Krista has a special love for the historic Payne-Corley House, and a sincere passion for weddings and event planning.


Jennifer is a former Special Education Resource Teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a master’s degree in Interrelated Education. After graduating from the University of Georgia in 1998, Jen taught at the elementary school level in the Gwinnett County school system for over four years. While planning her own wedding in 2000, she realized her natural ability and fondness for event planning, and decided to pursue event consulting while being a stay at home mom. For the past six years, she has been a wedding coordinator with Consultants Unlimited in Athens, Georgia, and planned weddings at various venues all over the metro-Atlanta Area. Jen also works as an Event Coordinator at the Fabulous Fox Theater in Atlanta, Georgia where she has overseen weddings, corporate and anniversary parties, charity events, and much more. Her commitment to her work and love for event management have spearheaded Jen’s rise in the event planning industry.


A natural organizer and planner, Lori-Ann’s initial involvement with event planning and management began in the early 1990s, when she assisted in managing regional and local events in south Florida. In 1995, she co-founded the renowned Speaking Hands Inc., increasing deaf community awareness by interpreting gospel and inspirational music into American Sign Language. Lori-Ann went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Marketing and Management from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2002, after working in the corporate marketplace, Lori-Ann chose to professionally pursue her passion for event management, and became the Assistant Event Manager for Cascades Restaurant at The Riverfront in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2004, she assumed the position of Marketing and Webinar Coordinator for TÜV SÜD America Inc., developing and managing up to 60 web-based events per year. After relocating to the Atlanta area in 2006, Lori-Ann and her husband formed Walker Enterprises & Events LLC, allowing her to fulfill her dream of taking the visions of others, and creating the reality of memorable and superb occasions.
